Liberty International World Conference

The LIWC was held August 16-19 in Madrid, Spain. I was present for the premier viewing of the trailer for the new cartoon production of my book, “The Adventures of Jonathan Gullible.” (In photo by poster with Jose Cordeiro, my former student Per Bylund, and Jacek Spendal.) As an associate professor of economics at Hawaii Pacific University, my presentation addressed issues surrounding my research on global migration issues: “Migration Control: That Peculiar Institution.”

Afghanistan Women’s Leadership Academy

Khalid Ramizy and the Afghanistan Economic and Legal Studies Organization (AELSO) hosted a terrific conference on Entrepreneurship for the Women's Leadership Academy. I represented Hawaii Pacific University in a webinar talking about Entrepreneurship and Leadership in the context of my book in Dari and soon in Pashtu, The Adventures of Jonathan Gullible.
