Programs and Progress in Burundi

On behalf of Resolution Connect and our URUMURI Hub, I would like to express our deepest gratitude for your invaluable support to the Liberty Debate Forum initiative.
Thanks to your generosity, we have been able to launch this ambitious program in more than 10 universities across Burundi, with the goal of training and inspiring a new generation of young leaders committed to the values of liberty.
This September, we had the honor of training over 150 students and young leaders for libery in Bujumbura, Gitega, and Butanyerera.
At the end of the trainings, we hosted an internal debate competition, where participants put their new skills into practice. Six teams have already qualified for the next stage, guided by remarkable mentors, including:
Robert Begley, founder of Speaking with Purpose, who coaches them in public speaking through his book Voices of Reason;
Professor Ken Schoolland, renowned libertarian author of The Adventures of Jonathan Gullible: A Free Market Odyssey, who deepens their understanding of the principles of liberty.
Seven years ago, a simple CD on the ideas of liberty transformed my life. Today, thanks to your support, we are offering the same opportunity to thousands of young Africans, providing them with mentorship and access to resources that empower them to embrace a free and prosperous future.
