Jonathan Gullible's Progress in Asia: Nepal, India, Pakistan, the Philippines

1) Phoenix From The Ashes (PFTA), organized by Liberty International, brought graduate student scholars from USA, South Korea, and Portugal to Biratnagar and Kathmandu to meet with private companies and government institutions in education, health care, commerce, etc. Their research will lead to academic publications on ideas for economic development. Presentations by Antonio Saravia and myself covered the philosophy and principles of economic development. https://liberty-intl.org/trainings/pfta/

2) Language of Liberty Institute conducted a week of student seminars at the Ratnagiri Resort on the mountainside of Kathmandu with a multitude of global speakers bringing together students from around Nepal to learn about libertarian principles of liberty and free markets. https://language-of-liberty.org

3) The Liberty International World Conference was held at the Himalaya Hotel in Kathmandu bringing together speakers from around the world to foster libertarian ideas in culture, human rights, and free markets. My speech was about global use of The Adventures of Jonathan Gullible (JG): “Storytelling for Liberty: Communicating Ideas Effectively”. https://liberty-intl.org/liwc2026/

These events led to a number of new JG projects:

1) The Tegulu publication is set to proceed, a language of 100 million speakers in India (Ravi & Ranjith);

2) A Tamil translation was proposed by one of our SFL students from Sri Lanka at LLI (Zeeath);

3) A Maithili translation, second language in Nepal after Nepali, was proposed by some at LLI (Ashish, Aanand, Bishnu);

4) JG board game was proposed by a student from LLI (Nistha);

5) A Pastu publication is in the works from our Pakistani participants from LIWC (Fayaz & Khalid);

6) A Chinese speaking book with Wei and Angel, whose business in China has produced hundreds of children's books that talk;

7) A Filipino translation was discussed (Angela).

And across Africa a number of projects are in progress:

1) Edgard Mugenzi in Burundi (French)

2) Nathaniel Dwamena in Ghana (English),

3) Mugabe John Socrates and Mwesige Joram in Uganda (English),
